Between school assign...Oh man I know what you mean. Between school assignments, deadlines for the school paper and half-marathon training I'm sad too admit that my social life gets put on the backburner. What I've started doing since January, that has been working great for me is SCHEDULING in workouts and social activities! For example, I have a 2-hour workout and a ton of assignments to get done tomorrow but a group of my friends are going out tonight so I'm going to go out with them until 11 p.m. only. That way I can still get about 6.5 hours sleep before my busy day starts tomorrow. I never go out on Friday nights because I have long training runs on Saturday mornings, so if I want to go out during the weekend I do it Saturday nights. <BR/><BR/>When I was working long days at my two jobs last summer I fit working out in by doing it in the morning. I'd drag my butt out of bed at 5:30 a.m. everyday so I could get a workout in. The first week or so was BRUTAL but after that it just became a habit to get up early! And make sure you give yourself rest days. I ALWAYS look forward to Sundays because it's the one day of the week where I let myself sleep in and I try not to schedule workouts or social activities on Sundays!
